Low GWP Formulations – Opportunities and Obstacles

    Tom Harris

Another new foam – What’s in it for me?

The transition to low Global Warming Potential spray foam is upon us. Resin manufacturers have been working with blowing agent suppliers for years to develop new foams which exceed low Global Warming Potential (GWP) regulations and outperform HFC (245fa) technology. This 60-minute presentation will identify key foam property and application characteristics which have been improved and may give the applicator a “better” performing chemical system as well as the impact these changes may have on company level metrics – like profit.
