Wilkin is a small business that employs your friends and neighbours. We’re small enough to give you the personal touch you need, but we’re big enough to handle any project you have. We purchase our top-quality materials from numerous manufacturers, so we’re not tied to any specific products or suppliers. That gives Wilkin’s well-trained estimators the freedom to determine exactly what you need and the best way to apply it while keeping you on budget.
Our investment goes beyond the products we use. All our field employees are fully trained union tradesmen who have been certified in proper application techniques by the manufacturers of the products we install. They’ve also received certified training in safety; CPR; OSHA compliance; and scaffold building, maintenance and usage. You can rest assured that those who work on your project have earned our trust by passing our pre-employment screening, which includes drug testing, background checks and complete physicals, to ensure top-notch workmanship and dependability.
Wilkin may be invested in the community we’ve helped build, but above all, we work for you.
SPFA Announces 1,000th Test Administered in Professional Certification Program
From Architectural Roofing & Waterproofing
FAIRFAX, Va. — The Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance (SPFA) announced that 2013, the first year of the program, saw more than 1080 exams administered in its flagship Professional Certification Program. An internationally recognized program for the professional certification of those active in the installation of spray foam for both roofing and insulation applications, the program encourages best industry practices and safety in the installation of spray foam. With industry demand and first-year adoption of the program both strong, the SPFA projects a doubling of these numbers to occur during the 2014 calendar year.
SPFA believes that the path to a healthful, safe, high-quality and performing SPF installation travels through the hands of a knowledgeable, trained, experienced, and ideally PCP-certified professional contractor.
