Spray Foam Coalition Releases More Than Three Years of Historical Data on Spray Foam Sales
WASHINGTON,
DC (March 1, 2012) – Observers and analysts of
the spray polyurethane foam industry can now, for the first time, obtain
historical, in-depth sales data by region and type of spray foam. The
Spray Foam Coalition (SFC) of the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI)
is launching a quarterly statistical data program for high-pressure spray
polyurethane foam (SPF) products to provide extensive business statistics about
the sector. The data is available for purchase on CPI’s website.
The initial data that is now
available for purchase covers Q1 2008 through Q3 2011 and includes the total
amount of SPF sold during those periods, broken down by open-cell, closed-cell
and roofing spray foam. In addition to foam type, these data specify historical
sales information for nine U.S. regions, Canada and other exports. In the
future, quarterly data will also be available through an annual subscription,
beginning with the 2011 statistical reports. Click
here for more information about the spray foam data.
For more information about the
spray foam statistics, or to learn more about the benefits of SFC membership,
