Notice of Joint Agency Energy Action Plan Meeting

The California Public Utilities Commission and California Energy Commission members, as well as other state representatives, will discuss and invite public comments on the Renewables Portfolio Standard, Energy Efficiency, California Energy Activities related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), Greenhouse Gas Reduction Activities, and other topical energy issues.
Though there may be a quorum of Commissioners present, no decisions will be made at this public meeting.
The Energy Action Plan, created in 2003 and subsequently updated in 2005 and 2008 by the CPUC and Energy Commission, lays out a single, unified approach to meeting California's energy needs by focusing on energy efficiency, demand response, and renewable energy. Joint meetings between the CPUC and Energy Commission on Energy Action Plan issues take place periodically.

The public comment period will be at the end of the meeting and speakers are allowed a maximum of five minutes (or less), depending on the number of speakers.

However if you wish to make a public comment, you must participate in person.
